WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT OUR HOME
Amazing location aside, what drew us to this property was the open floor plan of the kitchen and the living area. Having a young daughter, it was comforting being able to cook and have her play or read while in full view. This being equally beneficial when entertaining friends and family. On top of that, the extra gated parking spot just outside of the two car garage makes parking easy and convenient. Though we have two vehicles, we tend to utilize the city’s public transportation pretty often. The property is just over a block to the newly renovated Wilson Red Line Stop which can take you straight into the loop or further south to catch a Sox game. If you’re a Cubs fan, you can get to Wrigley and Gallagher Way in just a 15-minute walk!
Within a 10 minute walk, there is Target, Aldi, & Jewel Osco. For families, there is a playground and a library within 5 minutes. Walking around the neighborhood, you’ll find restaurants and bars all within walking distance.
This home also makes it easy to enjoy the outdoors during warmer weather. Montrose beach with it’s dog beach is only 1 mile away and at a closer distance, you are right at the beautiful lakefront trail.
If you decide to drive, it’s only 5 minutes to Lake Shore Drive and about 15-20 minutes to the downtown. The location of this home definitely has its advantages!
Most of all, we have come to truly love the community of the townhome complex. Everyone helps and looks out for each other. If we weren’t moving due to a job transfer, we would certainly be staying in our home.
